Home Digital Websites and webshops

To make an impact online as a brand, a website offers excellent opportunities to make a measurable contribution to your marketing and communication objectives. Especially when you want to think beyond the traditional online business card.

When it comes to web design and development, we always look at the added value in terms of branding, content, and conversion. Depending on the request, we use either the scrum method or a waterfall project approach. We explain below what is involved in developing a website and how we approach it.

Our approach

1. Strategy

A clear strategy and concrete goals ensure that your website is part of the bigger picture and contributes to the company-wide objectives. This is often overlooked, and a website is built without clear understanding of the contribution it needs to make. We develop strategy in our wave 1 process or through the use of a Digital Boost.

2. Structure

Once the goals are clear and we have a clear understanding of the target audience, we create structure by making a flowchart, wireframes, and a functional design. We do this in the definition phase where we consider questions such as: how can the visitor find the website as quickly as possible, what are they looking for, and how can we provide the functionalities they need.

3. Design

Once the blueprint for the website has been developed and the definition phase has been reached, we start filling it in line with the website. The unique character of the brand comes to life in the web design, ensuring consistency throughout the entire brand experience. Special attention is given to responsive (mobile) design, elements that contribute to the distinctiveness of the positioning and the conversion objectives.

4. Development

We build the website depending on the complexity in Expression Engine or WordPress. We set everything up on the server side, set up the system in which the content is managed (CMS) and ensure that the web design works functionally. By creating landing pages, adding functionalities such as multilingualism, lead forms, and chat options, we build the mechanisms that help achieve the objectives.

5. Test & Release

In the last step, we thoroughly test everything so that we can launch a well-functioning website from the release phase. And then the real work begins! Based on the objectives. After we have launched the website, we can measure and analyze visitor behavior so that we can optimize the website in the future. We do this from a Service Level Agreement (SLA) or based on our Impact Dashboard subscription.
